I’ve noticed that….Although that one above does seem weird…The supermarket I worked at was 24 hours during the week, but Saturday was until something like 2am and then the usual Sunday hours.

English society isn’t that bad *smile*

I agree with the Self checkouts though – If you have anything that needs ID checking (knifes, booze,etc) then don’t use the self-checkout. If you don’t know the name of the veg that you’re buying, don’t use it. The self-checkout queue should be ticking at a nice pace.

I wasn’t allowed to take Ballet either because my sister took it when she was 5 and forgot her ballet slippers for the recital and had to do it in her galoshes. Obviously at 16 I would have done the same thing

I had to take ballet at theatre school and yes, it was impossible.

I feel the same way about dance. I really wish my parents had put me in classes, when I BEGGED. We didn’t have the moola though. (And then for some weird reason I wound up taking accordion!? You think flute is the least sexy, think again!) Trying to learn ballet as an adult was… not so good. I think you will be a much better drummer than I was ballerina.
